Description of Serre-Chevalier

Serre Chevalier ski resort is located along the main road through the Guisane valley, which runs from the major town of Briançon up to Monêtier before climbing the Col du Lauteret and on into Italy. The main ski stations of Serre Chevalier are at Briançon (1200 m), Chantemerle (1350 m), Villeneuve (1400 m) and Monêtier (1500 m). Fairly widely spread out, each of these ski stations has its own distinctive feel. They're linked together with Briançon by a regular shuttle bus. Serre Chevalier is also an uncrowded, tree-lined freerider's paradise. Ski rental and snowboard rental in Serre Chevalier couldn't be easier.
